BWB has been working to support relief efforts on the ground in Haiti since January. Now, that the emergency phase is over, we are engaging in projects that make a real difference.
Volunteer in Haiti
BWB´s Sam Bloch has been on the ground in Haiti since January and has started a new organization, Grassroots United, that is doing amazing work in Port Au Prince. They have committed to be in Haiti for one year and are now accepting volunteers. Please go to www.grassrootsunited.org to learn more. Project Grandma´s House
Angela Kennedy is a builder who is returning to Haiti to lead a small team of volunteers in building a house for an elderly woman who desperately needs assistance. Angela is currently raising funds for this endeavor and hopes to be able to build more homes once this first house if finished. Please Click Here for all of the details.
