BWB Georgia SantaCon

The 9th Annual Dirty Southern Burners(DSB)/Burners Without Borders – Georgia(BWBGA) SantaCon was held in Little 5 Points. This was the second year that DSB and BWBGA teamed up to make the event a charity event. With seven bars, restaurants and local businesses making a charitable donations to be on Santa’s “nice” list, over $1000 raised benefiting Animal Savers Rescue in Doraville, BWBGA, and Lost-n-Found Youth Atlanta.

Several hundred Santas came out to support the event and visiting the list of participating bars: The Vortex Bar and Grill (who also put out a donation box for food items to benefit Lost N Found Youth), Cameli’s Pizza L5P (who had a donation box for donations to Animal Savers Rescue), The Porter Beer Bar, Euclid Yacht Club, Front Page News, and The Brewhouse Café. This was the second year each of these businesses has made a charitable contribution to the event except Cameli’s Pizza who experienced their first SantaCon in their new Little 5 Points location. Eye Etc. is a local business in the L5P area that donated out of the kindness of their hearts to Lost-n-Found without even being approached!

DSB and BWBGA is truly thankful for the generous contributions these businesses have made during the holiday season in support of this event and the work these charity groups do in our community. We are thankful to the Santas who came out for merriment and cheer and not only supported BWBGA, but most importantly these business who have shown continued support for us and the work we do throughout the year.
