BWB San Diego Supports Animal Shelter in Baja California, MX

The Burners Without Borders San Diego Working Group will be heading south of the California border
during the second half of February to assist in the construction of a very needed fence at a local dog
rehabilitation shelter in Baja California, Mexico.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
This opportunity is scheduled for February 26-27, 2022. In the event of rain, work will recommence March 5-6, 2022.
Lynette House is the sole participant within her community making the effort to take sick dogs off the
street and to provide them with temporary housing and medical care. After the dogs return to good
health, they are put up for adoption by loving families in the region.
At this point, the facility does not have a fence of any sort around the property to contain the animals
or to prevent them from being hurt by outside aggressors. Outside of the costs and need for
manpower to build the fence, financial assistance is needed for the medical bills associated with this
cause. Currently, all costs associated with this project have been covered entirely by the founder.
Providing seed money is fundamental in seeing this project stay afloat.
