BWB New Mexico (USA)
Burners Without Borders (BWB) is a grassroots, volunteer-driven, community leadership program whose goal is to unlock the creativity of local communities to solve problems and bring about change. Founded by Burners (Burning Man participants) who instinctively gathered in the Hurricane Katrina disaster zone to help those who couldn’t help themselves, BWB has grown into a dynamic international, volunteer organization made possible by the generous financial support of the community and an army of highly creative volunteers.
We are a BWB working group based in New Mexico and focused on local civic projects within our state.

If you’re interested in disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community resilience, consider joining the New Mexico Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). MRC volunteers support public health initiatives and emergency response efforts in communities across the state.

New Mexico also shares strong connections with the Arizona Burner community, with many camps, projects, and volunteers collaborating across state lines.
