We Live Here Too

The We Live Here Too Project in Central Oregon raises LGBTQ+ visibility and awareness through a powerful series of interviews and accompanying portraits. By sharing authentic stories from local queer and trans community members, the project highlights both the challenges and resilience within rural Oregon’s LGBTQ+ population. Each portrait and personal narrative invites understanding, empathy, and dialogue—helping to build a more inclusive and compassionate regional identity that celebrates diversity and belonging.
