Infinite Arts-BWB Georgia

BWB Georgia was awarded $350 for our work with Infinte Arts, a performance art group dedicated to the presentation of high quality productions suitable for family audiences at low or no cost. IA has been in our BWBGA Partnership Network since its inception. We have worked together on many projects including IA coming out to some of our events and helping us as well! This relationship has been crucial to how our Partnership Network works.

Erika Shipman, President of Infinite Arts,  expressed her gratitude for this partnership below.

“The grant given to Infinite Arts from Burners Without Borders was provided with the express purpose of giving back to the community. Infinite Arts researched and discussed the best option to provide resources to an Atlanta children’s program. We decided that giving back to children is the best way to provide a stable and active environment for positive re-enforcement. In addition to donating over $300 worth of art supplies and volunteering time, Infinite Arts, in conjunction with Burners Without Borders-GA, has taken interest and started participating in the Wonder Kids program, sponsored by WonderRoot Arts Facility.
Wonder Kids is a once-a-month program that provides Atlanta children an expressive outlet through the arts. Children ranging from 4-17 participate in everything ranging in sculpting, painting, drawing, etc. These activities fuel positive life skills such as working together with others, patience, following directions, etc.”

Infinite ARTS and BWBGA look forward to continuing this program together throughout 2014 and beyond, using the spirit of the Ten Principles of Burning Man to encourage artistic growth in the youth of Atlanta.
