BWB Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada)

Burners Without Borders Vancouver is a grassroots organization whose goal is to help people and the environment in our community and beyond. Burners Without Borders Vancouver (BWBV) has been a Chapter in Vancouver Canada DO-ing good work for over 10 years!

Thanks to Greater Vancouver Interactive Art Society’s (GVIAS) annual grant; BWBV continues to initiate beach and street clean ups, collection drives, and lead soup kitchen projects like ‘Christmas Isn’t Over’. BWBV also extends monetary grants to multiple nonprofits doing good work! Through our work we have been able to assist people in shelters, women who are involved in Vancouver’s street-based sex trade, LGBTQIntersex and HIV+ asylum seekers, refugee claimants and refugees in Canada, youth with addiction, people without housing and people who struggle with mental health in the local community and beyond. BWBVancouver also stands in solidarity with the land defenders.
