This eight-and-a-half-month theater workshop is for women and LGBT people from marginalized communities that would otherwise not be able to access theater or audiovisual classes. The project will create a safe space for voices and experiences that can be turned into a short film. Meeting twice a week the group will write a script, create theater and record a short film including hands-on post-production work. The participatory process of creating together and expressing shared realities through a short film is aimed at teaching new skills, developing community, and highlighting the voices of marginalized women.
