BWB Sacramento Supports Ukrainian Children on International Children’s Day

Rotary District 5190, in collaboration with Burners Without Borders Sacramento, provided financial support to a small business in Kyiv, Ukraine, after its workshop was severely damaged by a Russian drone strike in October 2024. Thanks to this support, the business was able to recover in time to produce puzzle gifts for Ukrainian orphans and Children of Fallen Heroes, distributed on International Children’s Day.

The Ukrainian small business Re4Win / Kyivwood and the American Ukrainian Aid Foundation hosted two uplifting events in Zolotonosha and Smila, Ukraine. These gatherings supported orphans and children who lost a parent fighting for Ukraine’s freedom, offering joy, healing, and a powerful reminder that they are not alone. Each child received a personal gift, including a patriotic puzzle made in Ukraine by Re4Win—a creative and inspiring keepsake designed to stimulate young minds while supporting local Ukrainian manufacturing.
