Earlier this year, the Burners Without Borders (BWB) Spring Summit 2024 at Fly Ranch brought incredible minds together to ignite positive change. One unforgettable moment was the Biochar Effigy Burn on the playa, where GEN International Ambassador Patty Rangel joined forces with the visionary Jackrabbit/Blue Sky Biochar team.
This powerful collaboration sparked a connection with BWB Micro-grant winner Life Foundation Aid team, paving the way for a brighter, greener future at the Kakuma Refugee Camp.
We’re thrilled to announce a transformative partnership between Life Foundation Aid and the Development and Empowerment Society (DES) to host future permaculture workshops as part of the Kakuma Food Forest project.
Together, we’re building sustainable solutions, empowering communities, and planting seeds of hope for generations to come.
YOU can make this dream a reality!
Every donation helps grow this food forest into a thriving sanctuary for the Kakuma community, providing fresh produce, education, and empowerment. Let’s come together to nurture hope, create opportunities, and change lives—one tree at a time.
