The 2026 Burning Mesh firmware is live

Burning Mesh uses Meshtastic—an off-grid radio network that lets burners send messages and share locations without relying on cell service. Its a fully insular network (Only within BRC). Think about it as walkie talkies – but for texting .

Last year’s mesh was a huge success, with over 1,700 participants, and we’re excited to build it together again this year!

To participate, every radio must be updated with the 2026 firmware. Last year’s firmware is not compatible with this year’s mesh.
