Help BWB Thrive in 2014
During the Burning Man event in 2005 Hurricane Katrina made landfall, and many participants were inspired to gather up the supplies they were using to survive on the playa to help those most in need on the Gulf Coast. Through the act of gifting $1million in debris removal to Katrina survivors, Burners Without Borders was born and has continued to thrive today due to this community’s unwavering commitment to participate in creating a better world.
Over the years, it has been your generous support and participation that has enabled this incredibly creative community to accomplish so much. Just this year, BWB has gifted over $3 million in debris removal post Hurricane Sandy and helped marginalized artists in Haiti start their own businesses. Through these and many other projects, BWB is making a difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
As we look to 2014, we have BIG plans, and BWB needs your help to make them possible. Together, we will do great things!
If you can donate $150 or more by December 31, 2014 you will receive a one-of-a-kind custom printed T-shirt. We’ve partnered with some of our favorite art installations from Burning Man 2013 to bring you two different screen print designs that will make anyone who sees you wearing it start dreaming of the playa! Each shirt will contain a print of the ‘Temple of Wholyness’ and will also include your choice of either ‘Truth & Beauty’ or the ‘Coyote’. (See designs on the right.)
Our friends at Remixed Ink are donating their printing talents to create one-of-a-kind custom T-shirts for you. These shirts are high-quality and are manufactured sweat shop-FREE. The printing will be custom for each and every shirt and pressed by hand, so no two shirts will look alike, every shirt is it’s own work of art!
Shirts will be delivered to you by February 15.
