Konbit Shelter
The Konbit Shelter Project in Fondwa, Haiti provides sustainable, artist-designed housing as part of long-term disaster relief and community rebuilding efforts. Initiated after the 2010 earthquake, the project combines local labor, natural building materials, and creative design to construct durable, beautiful homes that reflect Haitian culture and resilience. By blending art, architecture, and humanitarian aid, Konbit Shelter supports both immediate recovery and lasting empowerment—helping families rebuild not just their homes, but their sense of safety and community.
